Shipping & Returns

all website prices are in pounds sterling.

PURCHASING
is straightforward. simply follow the Site page instructions to select your item and place it into the shopping cart. When you have finished your shop you can checkout and be taken through the payment process. The final total including shipping will appear at the checkout before you confirm your order and you can cancel or amend at any time before then.

PRICING
All products are priced in accordance with our best possible price policy having regard to our own overheads and purchase costs, market demands and conditions. We regularly check the market on and off line to ensure that we are offering the best prices possible. Our Price Promise applies to all our products. Customers have the assurance that we will refund the difference in price of any purchase should the same product be available to buy from a bonafide retailer as a regular stock line within 21 days. We also give a fourteen day approval period from the date of purchase. We will refund the purchase price of any item which the buyer does not wish to keep, less carriage, providing the item(s) is received by us in original condition and packaging. This paragraph does not apply to personalised items (unless faulty) or faulty goods and is intended to be supplemental to the buyers statutory consumer rights

PAYMENT
We only accept payment on the Site with most major credit and debit cards. We do not accept accept cash or cheques. If you are outside the UK your credit card company will convert the online shop transaction from pounds sterling to your own currency. You acknowledge that any technical difficulties arising from the transaction are your responsibility to resolve with your card issuer

INVOICING
We will email as soon as possible, and usually same working day, to confirm receipt of an order. Our email will be confirmation of a formal contract between us and will stipulate any variations to your final price once we have checked all related details. Shipping and handling charges are calculated according to weight and method of dispatch. If your delivery address is within the UK your cost of delivery will be included in the checkout price. We will not invoice an item (unless previously paid) until it is ready to dispatch. We carry large stocks, but should an item be out of stock we will ask you for your instructions. If you prefer we will accept your order by email and your card payment by telephone to our customer service department on our telephone number shown on the web site and contact us page.

DELIVERY
We process orders daily and will normally ship your order within three to seven working days from the day the order is received. If it is going to be longer then we will inform you via email. Shipping and handling charges are calculated according to weight and value of order. If your delivery address is within the UK your cost of delivery will be included in the checkout price.

Our 'Standard Delivery' is usually 1 - 5 Business Days and most orders using this method will be sent via Royal Mail First or Second Class, at your choice and larger heavier items such as sets of glases and bulk orders may be shipped via a couriour service.

Please bear in mind that postal deliveries can be delayed and even First Class post can take days to arrive (!). Please remember that liability for dispatched goods lies with the customer after the order leaves our premises. We cannot be liable for damage or non-delivery of items after despatch.

BACK ORDERS
If your item is out of stock you may wish us to back order for you. You will always have the option to cancel and request a refund of payment if you later change your mind although this does not apply to items once personalised

ORDERING OUTSIDE OF THE UK MAINLAND
We currently post to UK mainland and international. International postage fees should be shown at checkout. If your country does not show shipping please contact us prior to ordering.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
When your order is placed at our website credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. If you prefer you can send your order by post to our address above. Please make any cheques made payable to Metalpix.

GUARANTEE
All of our products come with our 14 day approval guarantee as well as a one years guarantee (unless otherwise indicated) against defects arising in the normal course of use. Products shall comply with relevant UK consumer and sale of goods legislation. Please note certain exemptions apply to personalised goods.

RETURNING TO US
Any returns should be properly packaged and addressed to - Metalpix, Unit 11, Greenside Avenue, Rampton, Retford, Notts. DN22 0JN. Please email first of all for authorisation at sales@thepersonalisedtouch.com. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at :- http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Please note there are exceptions to goods that have been personalised. Once we have agreed a return (via discussion between the two parties)this should be done WITHIN 14 days of agreement. Returns include all origian packaging, gift box's where supplied and original item purchased. After this time period we will not accept returns for any reason.
